• Identity Data: Username, email address, and encrypted passwords.
• Financial Data: Handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not store or process your credit card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details on our servers.
• Interaction Data: Text inputs, code snippets, and chat histories submitted to the MentoraGen AI. This is required to maintain your personalized "Student Profile" mapping your cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, and operating system.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

• To register you as a new user and manage your account.
• To process and deliver your subscription requests.
• To feed contextual history into our LLM API (Groq) strictly to generate an immediate, personalized educational response.
• To analyze usage trends and improve the MentoraGen logic matrix.

4. Third-Party Services & AI Sub-processors

To provide our services, we share necessary, anonymized data with authorized third-party vendors:

• Groq Inc: Processes chat queries to generate AI responses.
• Razorpay: Processes all financial transactions securely.
• Hugging Face / Web Hosting: Provides the server infrastructure to host our application.

We strictly prohibit third-party AI providers from using your private chat logs to train their foundational models.

5. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. Your chat history and user profiles are stored locally in an encrypted database format.

6. Your Legal Rights

You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account and wipe all associated chat history instantly through the MentoraGen profile dashboard or by contacting support.
